Felena Hanson is an entrepreneur, author, and the visionary behind Hera Hub—the spa-inspired coworking space and business accelerator where female-founders have the space, support, and strategy to flourish. Since launching the first location in San Diego in 2011, she has been on a mission to support over 20,000 women-led ventures with practical tools, a powerful network, and confident execution.

Felena Hanson is an entrepreneur, author, and the visionary behind Hera Hub—the spa-inspired coworking space and business accelerator where female-founders have the space, support, and strategy to flourish. Since launching the first location in San Diego in 2011, she has been on a mission to support over 20,000 women-led ventures with practical tools, a powerful network, and confident execution.

A longtime marketing leader turned founder, Felena opened her first company, Perspective Marketing, in 2003 and quickly discovered her passion for elevating women entrepreneurs through community leadership. 

Anticipating the rise of the gig economy and coworking, she spent almost a year researching the market before opening Hera Hub—pairing beautiful, professional workspace with robust business support. 

As a Certified Public Benefit Corporation, Hera Hub delivers daily support, accountability, curated introductions, and education—in person and online—to keep members productive and prosperous. The community’s experts “pay it forward,” offering one-on-one mentoring and live workshops to accelerate progress.

Felena also built two virtual accelerator programs that run multiple cohorts each year with sponsorships from local banks, the Women’s Business Center, and the SBDC. In alignment with Hera Hub’s Public Benefit mission, these programs are offered at no cost to members and the broader community (www.LaunchAndGrow.org).

A published author and international speaker, Felena wrote Flight Club – Rebel, Reinvent, and Thrive: How to Launch Your Dream Business. She is also an expert interviewer with a YouTube series, WomenWhoExit, and the long-running Flight Club podcast, which is ranked in the top 5% globally according to ListenNotes.com

Felena holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of San Diego and an MBA from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She taught Marketing and Entrepreneurship for over a decade at several colleges before launching Hera Hub.
