The Hardest Part of Running a Solo Business Is Making Every Decision by Yourself
You decide what to charge, who to hire, when to pivot, and which client to let go. You make those calls without a sounding board. It’s not because you lack smart people in your life, but because the people around you have never built what you are building.
So, you get good at performing. You say business is great when the month was thin. You answer “how’s it going?” with a version of the truth that’s easier to say out loud.

Hera Hub DC is where you take the mask off. It's a room full of women who have made the same hard calls and had the same quiet months, and who won't flinch when you say so.
What Membership Actually Gives You

Hera Hub DC is a professional home for women who run their own businesses. A place where your work is understood by people doing the same job, where an honest question gets an honest answer, and where the relationships outlast any single event.

Curated Locally.
Connected Nationally.
- In person, across the DMV: We host happy hours, workshops, and coworking days all across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Check out our upcoming events.
- Virtual, across the country: We run practical working sessions with Hera Hub members nationwide. You get templates, breakout rooms, and real questions, rather than a webinar where someone talks at you for an hour and pitches at the end.
- Expert office hours: You can take a question straight to one of our GURUs, a subject-matter expert in branding, bookkeeping, marketing, pricing, or operations. Learn more about our GURU program.
- Learning programs: Launch Academy and Growth Academy serve women starting something new and women scaling what already works. Explore the academies.
- Sub-hubs: Small groups form around key business topics such as business foundations, marketing, or AI. Check out our sub-hubs.

Why We Run It This Way
For four years, I built my business by myself. I felt like I was doing things the hard way. Every expensive decision got made alone, everyone else seemed to have it figured out, and almost no one heard how hard it actually was.
Joining as a member changed that. It wasn’t a new tool or a new tactic. What mattered was finally having women around me who understood the actual job and who told me the truth.
When I took over as owner of Hera Hub DC, protecting that became the whole point. So we keep the gatherings intentional, we ask real questions, and we build programming you can put to use right away rather than motivation that fades once you get back to work. The DMV is mine to run, and a national network of Hera Hub owners, GURUs, and members makes the rest of it possible.
