Jakey is a dance teaching artist, educator, performer, blogger, mindfulness practitioner, and entrepreneur.
After working with the public sector for 7 years, Jakey founded Artists In The Classroom, a company devoted to arts education, inclusivity, activism, and improving organizational culture within systems.
She is a member of the National Dance Education Organization, an SF Community Boards certified Mediator, and currently an SIY Teacher in Training, with Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI), a non-profit born at Google, that brings practical mindful leadership & emotional intelligence tools to communities and organizations.
