While Hera Hub is “female-focused,” men are encouraged to join the community.

“Being pro-women doesn’t mean you need to be anti-male,” said Hanson. “Yes, the pillars of business were developed by men—competitive nature and sometimes aggressive tactics. Women have women often felt like outsiders – especially in STEM fields.  But reverse discrimination is not the way to make it right.  Our goal is to create spaces where women feel safe and supported—where women know it’s OK to not have all the answers and they are open to sharing and asking for help.  We absolutely need men to be part of the conversation if we are going to create REAL change.”
