What is the Metaverse?
The Metaverse is the concept of a shared virtual space with digital worlds. It can be created as a result of the convergence of augmented reality and sustainable virtual space. The Metaverse includes the sum of all virtual worlds, augmented reality, and the web.
Every Wednesday at 11am PT, members gather to discuss important business topics. The week of January 10th was all about the future, so we tackled the trending topic of the Metaverse.
We defined and discussed the framework of the metaverse and talked about ways companies are jumping on the bandwagon.
Felena Hanson led the dialog about the business opportunities in what many are calling Web 3.0. Members Cami Chu, Áine Kmen, Carleigh Berryman, and Emma Mankey Hidem brought their expertise and real world examples.
