May is Mental Health Awareness Month. To bring more awareness to tools and techniques that people can use to help understand their own feelings of anxiety or stress, Julia Westfall, owner of Hera Hub DC, interviewed Jenny Kellogg, of Amalthea Astrology. She shares how she uses Compassionate Inquiry, a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, and why a somatic and trauma-informed approach to mental health is important. Jenny discusses how the somatic approach to mental health allows us to regulate our nervous systems, calm down, and discern what is happening with our bodies, emotions, and minds.

Jenny also offers an example of how to notice what is happening in your body in the moment stress and anxiety as a model for understanding how your body responds so we can be more in touch with how we are feeling.

We hope you will take a few minutes to listen to their discussion!
