In this profile, we’d like you to meet professional photographer John Moore.

Give us a brief bio: who are you, what do you do?
My name is John Moore and I am an editorial and lifestyle photographer. I like to work with entrepreneurs and small business owners who value creative imagery.
What are you hoping to get out of this internship?
The experience of being part of an incredibly supportive co-working space and the opportunity to work with entrepreneurs who are pursuing their passion with a purpose.
Where do you see yourself and/or your business in 5 years?
Working out of my own studio with my primary clients being entrepreneurs and non profit organizations.
What is your dream company to work for and why?
My dream company to work with is National Geographic. That is a very “standard” answer for many photographers I know, but working with them would give me the opportunity to travel and photograph people; two of my favorite things.
Tell us something fun about you.
I am a bit of a book nerd, or I love nerd books, take your pick. The last book I read was The Broken Eye – by Brent Weeks. I love taking courses on Creative Live. I am obsessed with traveling. Scotland is next on my travel bucket list.
Recently, John did a #BehindTheDesk photo series for two of our members, De’Anna Nunez and Rebecca Tall-Brown, to showcase these ladies when they aren’t wearing their “entrepreneur” hats.

“I love the word vitality. It absolutely represents who I am and what I teach. To have vitality is to choose mental and physical vigor. To create and embody a life energy that connects me to purpose and is positively contagious to others.”
Rebecca at her family-owned nursery in City Heights. This is where she began marketing at the age of 8 and where she still works in her spare time.
When asked: what advice would you give to a new entrepreneur?
“I’m going to steal a quote from my dad, a 45 year entrepreneur: ‘never start with a negative. Whatever your idea. If you start with a negative, you might as well not start at all’.”
