Achieving better work-life balance can be the key to business growth

One of the ways we strategically serve our members is by identifying what stage they are within their business. When conversations turn to business development or advancement, there is a common thread among members as to why their business hasn’t reached a certain milestone and it involves the ever-elusive work-life balance. Watch this video from Hera Hub founder Felena Hanson and ask yourself if there are areas in your life that can be restructured so that your business isn’t being moved to the back burner more often then not.

Perhaps, author Tim Ferris is on to something when he says we should shift our thinking from ‘work-life balance’ to ‘work-life separation.

“Aim to be productive instead of busy, and recognize that life is full of special relationships and activities that need to be protected from one another.”

Time blocking, outsourcing, scheduled vacations and learning when to say “no” are great first steps toward taking charge of the things that can get in the way of entrepreneurship.

Have you implemented any changes that helped you achieve better balance?
