Renie Leakakos, Esq. is the Founder of Leakakos Law, APC, a legal practice dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses, and emerging growth companies throughout California. Since establishing her firm in 2002, Renie’s mission has been to help clients pursue happiness, harmony, and freedom by protecting their businesses, assets, and ideas through sound, practical legal guidance.
Renie assists clients with entity formation, contract drafting and updates, contract review and advice, outside general counsel services, and dispute resolution. She also offers crossover expertise in real estate law, including review of commercial leases, purchase agreements, easements, and deeds. With prior experience litigating business, collection, and real estate disputes, she understands how to safeguard both you and your business.
Her background spans traditional law firm roles—serving as both associate and managing partner—as well as extensive corporate experience as General Counsel and VP of Sales & Marketing. This unique blend allows Renie to connect deeply with business owners and entrepreneurs, offering both legal knowledge and practical business insight.
Originally from Chicago, Renie moved to Southern California to study business management and psychology at Loyola Marymount University before earning her law degree from Loyola Law School. She is detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and committed to helping clients navigate the legal challenges that come with building and growing a business.
