Violet Pearson is recognized as a catalyst for growth and change. Her professional career as an entrepreneur, business strategist, master coach, change igniter, and human rights activist spans 20+ years of expertise in organizational leadership and development, strategic business planning and implementation, executive recruitment and coaching, and developing high-performance teams.

Violet offers a distinguished record of achievement in new business development and optimizing organizations including small, mid-sized, and Fortune 100 companies. She has worked with clients throughout the United States, Africa, South America and Asia in several industries, including consumer products, food & beverages, healthcare, utilities, Oil and Gas, High Tech, and professional services. She is highly skilled in driving revenue growth, exceeding performance objectives, and standardizing procedures while ensuring delivery of unmatched service and support to clients.

Violet is an accomplished dynamo — she ignites change! A few of her executive performance highlights include the following:

  • Nominated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
  • Conceived, developed, and implemented innovative corporate and business strategies on behalf of several Fortune 100 companies.
  • Actively participated in acquisitions involving multinational consumer products company and high-tech business.
  • Successfully planned and established organizations in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
  • Orchestrated the acquisition and post implementation integration planning of privatized utilities.
  • Directed strategic alliances between ASIAN, U.S., and African companies in the African power sector.

A dealmaker and astute businessperson, Violet is best known for her capacity to facilitate change. She is highly regarded for her business acumen, organizational expertise, relationship management strengths, and consistent performance achievements, positively impacting bottom-line profitability. Violet co-founded and is currently a partner at ChangeIgnitors, LLC, an international change management firm. Serving in the capacity of Leadership and OD practice lead, she works with leaders and organizations to transform lives and organizations by igniting and unleashing passion and creative brilliance in leaders of excellence. Further, Violet functions as a business partner and liaison, providing strategic guidance and direction to companies interested in expanding their businesses globally. Her firm provides a blend of strategic, regulatory, financial, economic, and technical advisory services.

Violet offers a winning combination of skills proven in diverse settings, both non-profit and for-profit organizations, delivering concrete operational results and increased profitability. Earlier in her career, Violet worked as Group Director of Global Community Initiatives and Director of Organizational Effectiveness with The Coca Cola Company (2006–2008), Expert Consultant and Project Manager of the United Nations Development Program (2004–2006), Managing Partner of Touchstone International Group (1999–2005), Founder of the Women’s Initiative for Self-Empowerment (WISE; 1999–2004), Marketing Strategy Manager of Hewlett Packard (1996–1999), Senior Consultant of Gemini Consulting (1995–1996), Strategy Consultant of Mercer Management (1993–1995), and Internal Consultant of Chevron Corporation (1989 –1993). In every assignment, Violet’s contributions have been instrumental in enhancing profitability and reenergizing team performance.

Violet is passionate about building a platform for female entrepreneurs to collaborate and support each other because of her experiences in building organizations from the ground up. Violet has conceptualized and implemented several women’s leadership development initiatives focused on attracting, developing, and motivating  high-caliber leadership talent. She has also made great strides in advancing women’s rights and serving as a human rights activist.

Further, she has served as a consultant to the African Women’s Development Fund, UNIFEM, UNDP, UNICEF, UNHCR, Interparliamentarian Union (IPU), Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) and National Democratic Institute (NDI). She has through consulting for these agencies developed the following: Programs for Campaign on Violence Against Women, Training for psychologists and lay counselors on providing counseling and support to survivors of violence and sexual assault, Gender and Violence against women and children training manuals for the Police Force, Strategic objectives for Women’s Programs for the UN, Training Manual for Elected officials and Media Advocacy Manuals for journalists.

Throughout her career, Violet has devoted her energies toward being a good steward of available resources. She is a decisive, proactive, and performance-driven professional, offering a unique blend of academic achievement, practical experience, organizational and motivational leadership, creativity, and flexibility for change.
