Community Director janelle
Shatha Barbour has a diverse background with experience working for a hospital, a Fortune 500 company as well as starting and growing a non-profit organization in Phoenix, AZ. During her career in both the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, she worked in a variety of roles ranging from strategy, sales, operations, and compliance, until her and her family relocated to Phoenix in 2010. In early 2011, she shifted gears to start up a non-profit organization, leveraging all the skills she had gained to start and grow this new endeavor. These experiences have given her a chance to work and to see all aspects of growth and development, and have ultimately positioned her to pursue her passion: cultivating and empowering women to fulfill their goals and business ideas in a collaborative environment through Hera Hub!
In her free time, you’ll find Shatha hiking the peaks around Phoenix, powering through Crossfit workouts, teaching high school students about leadership and community service, and spending quality time with her husband and three kids.
